Special Yak Hat Offer for Christmas Tree Farms

We can’t believe it’s already almost time for Thanksgiving – and aside from fretting over turkey preparation (roasted or deep fried?), what we’re really excited about is Christmas Tree shopping!
Beginning the day after Thanksgiving, families across the Northeast head out to local Christmas Tree Farms to choose the perfect sapling. The process can take anywhere from minutes to hours – depending on how big the farm is, and how indecisive the family members are!

In order to keep everyone warm during this year’s tree hunt, we’re outfitting area tree farmers across New England with our warmest Yak hats, and we’re offering a special deal on packaged displays of 24 fleece hats to sell to chilly shoppers.

The hats are nicely arranged in a box that can either sit on a counter, or be propped up on its own cover anywhere in the store or farm. An Act of Compassion – YAK gives away 100 warm wool hats to Occupy Boston

Did ya see? Did ya see? YAK was on the news this past Friday evening! We came across reporters from Channel 4 at Occupy Boston, where we gave away 100 warm wool hats to protesters braving the weekend’s wintery weather.
We decided to give away the hats as an act of compassion, not a political statement. The YAK brand is all about compassion, style, and of course functionality and warmth, so donating the hats seemed like the perfect expression of all that we stand for as a company. And it was really fun– everyone was so appreciative and loved how warm and stylish all the hats were.
