Kim Kardashian to Tie the Knot This Weekend

If anybody knows how to throw a good party, it’s the Kardashians – and this weekend they’ll be partying the day (and night) away at Kim’s highly anticipated wedding to New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphrey. The wedding will take place on August 20^th in Montecito, California – and while the details are strictly under wraps, there’s no doubt the black tie affair will be over the top (just like Kim’s 20.5 carat engagement ring).

Rumors say the wedding will cost the couple somewhere in the 10 million dollar range, with a guest list of almost a thousand.

While the bride to be hasn’t revealed many details about the nuptials, there have been some images floating around of the invitations. They were designed by Lehr and Black, and are covered in hundreds of black hematite crystals.

Reports of a strict dress code have also been surfacing – guests have been asked to wear either black or white attire, with no exceptions. The non-traditional dress code has led to speculation that Kim will not wear a traditional white dress. No surprise there – Kim’s style is anything but traditional.

If Kim does indeed opt for a colored dress, she’ll join a colorful clique of other non-traditional celebrity brides including Reese Witherspoon (she wore pink), Sarah Jessica Parker (she wore black) and Elizabeth Taylor (she wore yellow).
