A Boston-based apparel and accessories company specializing in wool hats and silk scarves, YAK Apparel works directly with talented artisans in Nepal, providing them with sustainable, fair wage employment, to bring their products to more than 2,000 stores (and counting!) in the United States alone. Created with natural wool, fleece, and faux fur, YAK Apparel’s hats are made from natural, sustainable materials, which is so important to anyone passionate about being kind to the planet.
The faux fur pom-poms on the top of the hat and at the bottom of the tassels that hang on either side are super cute without it coming off as being a child’s hat. The weight of it as well as the lining and earflaps keep your ears and head warm and toasty, even on very cold nights, and it’s very comfortable.
In addition to the awesome pom-pom trapper hats like the one I received, YAK Apparel also has head wraps, beanies, fleece-lined hats, and other variations of faux fur-lined hats with tassels for both women and men.
