 What You’ll Need:
Felt
Thread
Embroidery floss
Craft Glue
Any embellishments you wish to add (buttons, beads, sequins, etc.)
 Instructions:
Using an old piece of newspaper, cut out a template in the shape of a sock. Cut out a front and back piece.
Lay the template over the felt and cut out the front and back pieces.
Sew the stocking together, leaving the top open with a ¼ inch seam allowance.
Either blanket stitch around the edges of the stocking with embroidery floss, or use textured sewing scissors to trim the edges.
Cut a 3 inch by ½ inch strip of felt and attach it (preferably by sewing, vs. gluing for a stronger hold) to the top corner of the stocking.
Use craft glue to attach embellishments to the front of the stocking. You can also use felt or embroidery floss to add a name or initials to the stocking.
