YAK Apparel earflap trapper hat review
Even though autumn just got here, my mind is already on winter. I can’t decide if I want to keep snowboarding (hah, I’ve only ever been twice but I like to pretend I’ve been doing it for yeeeears) or if it’s time to join the dark side and try skiing.

I’m excited to go to Whistler in a couple of months! Something that I’ll be packing with me for sure is this earflap trapper hat from YAK Apparel, a Boston-based company that specializes in wool hats and silk scarves that are handcrafted in Nepal. One of the company’s missions is to provide sustainable, fair wage employment in Nepal based on the handmade crafts trades by selling these beautifully handmade products in over 2,000 stores (and counting!) across the US. The trapper hat that I chose to review is lined with faux fur and has the cutest pom-poms ever! The hat was shipped extremely promptly and arrived at my doorstep within a week of placing the order. Thanks to the temperamental Seattle fall, I took this hat out on one of the chilliest nights and my ears were warm and toasty the whole night, thanks to the knit of the natural wool. :) I can only imagine how toasty I’m going to be while up in the mountains with all the fresh powder!
Disclosure: I received this hat courtesy of YAK Apparel for review but the opinions expressed in this post are all my own.
